If you already have an existing game on MindJolt, or if you have visited this site before, then you will probably notice we’ve had a bit of a paint-job. As we pull the covers off of our new developer site, we’d like to thank all of the amazing developers who have created and uploaded games to MindJolt in the past. Together, we’ve become one of the most visited places to play games online – with over 20 million happy people playing games each month on www.mindjolt.com, MindJolt on Facebook, or on one of the many social networks we distribute your games to (MySpace, Hi5, Bebo, Orkut, Friendster, Ning, etc.) But, we’re not stopping here – we are expanding our reach even further… delivering more players to your games and in turn helping you monetize your efforts further than you have been able to before.
New APIs and Platform Functionality on their way
Our big news for developers is that we will shortly be releasing significant new APIs and platform functionality aimed at making your games more monetizable and more fun to play. We’ve listened to the feedback from the game developer community, and we hope that what we have in store will answer many of your requests.
MindJolt Developer Community
We’d also like to draw your attention to the MindJolt Developer Discussion Group, which will form a key part of our community outreach. We want to get even better at being around and available to answer your questions, listen to your ideas and respond to your feedback. So, if you need support or want to bounce something off of us, head over and ask us! We also hope that in the spirit of open development, developers building games on MindJolt will come together to help each other too – whether it be ActionScript questions, game development advice or peer review of games.
